Terms of Use

Identity and basic rules

• Real name: legal name required, copy it from your ID.
• Minimum age: 16 years old.
• No commercial use: any advertising or promotion is forbidden.

Zero tolerance and Child Safety

The app 256Bip: Rede Social Brasileira (operated by E81 Solutions) explicitly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We have zero tolerance for any material that endangers children. For full details, reporting procedures, and our safety contact, please see our Child Safety Standards.

We do not issue warnings. Accounts are removed immediately for:

• Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM);
• disrespect, abuse, prejudice, or antisocial behaviour;
• pornography, sexualisation, or sensitive imagery;
• illegal content;
• false names;
• sharing malicious links or viruses.

🚫 If you are banned: removal from 256bip is permanent. If your account is deleted for a breach, that email cannot be reused, your IP address will be blocked, and your device (Device ID) will be added to our restricted list, permanently preventing any new sign-up from the same device.

Absolute respect: politics and conflict

256bip is an entertainment network. It is not a soapbox, a campaigning platform, or a place to fight.

• Politics without attacks: talking about politics is allowed. Any targeted political insult towards a candidate, party, public figure, or their supporters is forbidden. Challenge ideas, never people.
• Conflict between members: trading insults between people on the network is not allowed. Disagreeing is fine; offending or insulting is not. The account that insults is removed, whether they started it or not.
• Do not feed it: respond to provocation with a report and a block, not a comeback — if you insult back, you are held accountable too.

Content comes first (feed and format)

• 100% chronological: we do not use algorithms to decide what you see.
• No privilege: follower counts elsewhere do not matter. What counts is the quality of your BiP.
• Location: share only city or region (never your exact location). This also does not count towards the 256-character limit.

Photos and Videos

We do not require a minimum amount of text to post media.

• Verified users: immediate publishing without prior moderation.
• Unverified users: all posts containing photos or videos are initially held back and only appear on the feed after human approval by our moderation team.

Limits: Verified vs Unverified

Interactions (replies, comments, likes) are unlimited. For new BiPs on your feed:

• Unverified accounts: max 3 posts per day.
• Verified accounts (blue or green): no daily limits.
• For everyone: you must wait at least 5 minutes between posts.

Over the limit? If an unverified account posts more than 3 times, the BiP is not lost: it goes to Scheduled and will publish at the next available slot after 24 hours.

Lifecycle: the 45-day end

No BiP or photo stays on our servers after 45 days.

1. Up to 15 days: if a BiP gets no interaction or its average rating falls below 3, it is deleted.
2. 16 to 30 days (second chance): quality BiPs get another round.
3. 31 to 45 days (final stretch): with ongoing interaction, a BiP lives until the 45-day cap, then it ends permanently.

You are the moderator

• Reports: the BiP is taken down immediately. Note: malicious reports to harm others will lead to your own account being removed and your device blocked.
• Dislikes: BiPs that receive 10 negative votes (the 👎) are removed automatically by the system. At the fifth one you get a warning, with the exact count of what is left.
• No highlights, no scoring: the feed is 100% chronological. No BiP gains or loses position through votes, comments, reposts or ratings — what you post appears at the time you posted it, for everyone.

Benefits of verification

Verification (blue or green badge) is optional and gives you:

• priority support;
• the right to choose and change your @username (once per month);
• the right to report posts/users and take part in moderation;
• the right to run one active community at a time.

Communities

• All communities are reviewed. They need a photo, category, name, and description that comply with these Terms.
• After the first member joins, you cannot rename the community — you must delete it and create a new one.

🚫 Any other link is forbidden: the post is not published and a violation is recorded on your profile. If it happens again, the account is banned and removed automatically.
